BullMonkey founder, Ernest McCrank, holds a Master's Degree in Environmental Design (Industrial Design Specialization), an Honours Degree in Outdoor Recreation and a Bachelor's Degree in Geography. He is an award-winning designer with more than 10 years professional experience in consultancy and in-house capacities. Ernest is named on a number of utility patents and has a proven track record of creating positive relationships between people and products. He has served as a sessional instructor at Lakehead University,The University of Calgary, and Emily Carr University of Art and Design. He has taught in the Faculties of Outdoor Recreation, Environmental Design, Culture and Community, and Engineering. His research interests are in the fields of biomimetics, intuition and the emerging fertile ground between mass collaboration and rapid manufacturing technologies. Ernest is an active member of The British Columbia Industrial Design Association (BCID), The Canadian Association of Industrial Designers (ACID), and a past member of The Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA).
