At BullMonkey, we’ve been working with rapid prototyping and rapid manufacturing technologies for nearly 15 years. We recognize the importance of these technologies in getting parts into people’s hands to get the ‘fit - finish - feel’ of a product. We use appropriate prototyping methodologies to get the answers we need, when they’re needed. We’re talking faster than rapid most of the time. We often integrate 3D CAD with quick (low-fidelity) 3D moch-ups out of paper, foam, wood, and clay. Once the limits of the quick prototypes have been reached, we can transfer our 3D data into high-fidelity rapid prototypes through a wide variety of additive processes. At BullMonkey, we maintain a close eye on RP technologies and materials so that we can make use of the most appropriate high-fidelity processes.

We can make use of digital data that our clients may already have from a variety of software and 3D data collection methods. We are able to translate such data into modifiable surfaces to make needed changes to geometry.Much of the 3D data that we create has further capacity to assist in your product’s development than technical manufacturing. We often find ourselves transforming our 3D data into 2D information that can be used in packaging, graphics, and animation.

We use leading edge CAD modeling software in order to best translate your thoughts into 3D. Being expert in both advanced surfacing and solids modeling, we are able to create models that are robust, simple, and at various levels of continuity that allow for unlimited surface finishes downstream.From subdivision surface modeling, to freeform and parametric NURBS surfacing, to parametric solids modeling, we have the tools to deliver your project through to manufacturing.
