Despite the myriad reasons why such processes are incredibly useful and appropriate for the production of much of our goods, we at BullMonkey do our best to draw on the lessons of nature’s design philosophies where applicable.Having worked with a wide variety of manufacturers both locally and internationally, we have developed systems that allow us to communicate design intent clearly and effectively, ensuring that the product that we receive is the product that we’ve asked for.

We have extensive materials knowledge and experience in application. Through this experience, we have learned many of the subtleties of a variety of materials. Much of this information is empirical, and not commonly found in books. We have learned much of this by getting sawdust and filings under our nails, finding the limits of a material’s ability to bend, support, span, and withstand a variety of challenges. We have had the pleasure of working with researchers internationally on the development of new and exciting materials that are far more intelligent that the common offerings that have been used in the 20th century.We are fully aware of the great Pacific gyre, and are deeply concerned with the effects of the decisions we make in bringing products to life. We are constantly on the lookout for materials that are appropriate and ecologically viable. There are many factors that go into choices in material. Beyond the physical properties of materials, we keep abreast of supply and demand of metals, minerals, natural, and man-made material components. BullMonkey actively seeks out the latest information on biodegradable biopolymers from industry leaders in the event that we are to help you with less than durable products.
